PDF Conversion Server
Creating high quality PDF output can be both time consuming and expensive; but not with Plot Station's PDF Conversion Server.
It's the ideal choice for high volume, high quality PDF generation from a wide variety of input file formats, including CAD formats such as AutoCAD, MicroStation and SolidWorks; scanned file formats such as Tiff, CALS, JPEG, PNG; and business formats such as Microsoft Office such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Multi-page PDF files are a great way to distribute drawing sets by email. Create compound documents as multi-page PDF files by selecting a variety of file types and submitting them together as a set. Each file selected will be converted to a page in your new multi-page PDF document. Since Plot Station is a server based solution, an unlimited number of users can submit files to the PDF Conversion server for PDF creation using simple Windows drag & drop commands.
Use the Plot Station® API to automatically convert content stored in your existing information systems (such as your EDM/PDM) and upload the results back into your EDM/PDM. The same Plot Station system used for PDF conversion can be configured as an enterprise-wide batch print engine to enable convenient server-side printing from your EDM/PDM to any networked print device.
