eQuorum Releases ImageSite® 7.2 and Plot Station® 9.1

Offering Many New Features and Feature Enhancements

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - November 1, 2007 - eQuorum Corporation today announced the availability of ImageSite® version 7.2 and Plot Station 9.1. These updates continue to improve eQuorum’s Web-based engineering document management software solution and engineering batch printing solution and are available for immediate customer installation.

Plot Station® lets you offload CAD plot processing from individual CAD workstations and centralize batch plotting activities on the network with a dedicated plot server. Plot Station® is an open systems batch plotting solution, supporting more printers, plotters, networks, and large format engineering document inputs than any other product. This makes Plot Station® an ideal choice in a mixed CAD and mixed plotter environment.

ImageSite® provides a secure environment to store, organize, and manage your entire product or project information. It offers advanced features for CAD while also providing a central location for general business documents, correspondence, and business critical email. As a totally web-based solution, ImageSite offers global access to engineering drawings, technical documents, and office documents.

New Plot Station Features

• Support for Solidworks 2007, AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD 2008 files.
• Multi-page HPGL support.
• Server-processing of Microsoft Office files to both print and PDF generation.
• Improved fidelity, reduced file size, and increase search ability of PDF files generated from Office file formats.
• Numerous data specific updates to maintain high quality output production despite changing cad formats and printer devices.
• Improved image on page positioning control.

New ImageSite Features:

• AutoCAD Title Block Integration – ImageSite attributes can now be dynamically linked with AutoCAD "Field" or "Text Attribute Tag" values which are typically used to define drawing title block information. Once configured the ImageSite attribute is automatically updated upon AutoCAD file (DWG) upload (check-in).
  • ImageSite can be linked to any custom AutoCAD "Field" (arbitrary fields created in AutoCAD by the user), or to common standard fields
  • ImageSite can be linked to any AutoCAD Text Attribute Tag value, with selective filtering based on block, layout, layer and color.
• Support for Solidworks 2007, AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD 2008 files.
• ImageSite installation has been updated to support Tomcat 6.0.10 and the latest version of the Java Web server (6.x) application software with Sun Java Virtual Machine 1.6.x.
• ImageSite now includes an additional set of 18 UI Profile controls to allow administrators to specify which actions on the Folder Options dialog are available to users. Previously existing UI Profiles will have these actions turned OFF by default.
• ImageSite has a new Advanced Download Protocol option to configure the read/write behavior of downloaded files. The following new options are provided for workspace projects when Advanced Download Protocol is enabled:
  • Check-out: Documents are downloaded and made writable in the local project workspace.
  • Check-in: The local copy (on the local workspace) of the document checked in is re-set to Read-Only status.
  • Download: If a document is simply downloaded (not checked out), it arrives in the local workspace as a Read-Only document.
  • Users are warned if checking-out or downloading a document will cause a local writable document to be overwritten. This allows the user to cancel the check-out or download command prior to over-writing an existing file and take appropriate action to save that local file.
• Users who are working with documents on the Rapid Indexing page can now undock the document viewer.
• For enhanced usability, new options to Select All and Deselect All items have been added on these ImageSite pages:
  • Custom Fields for Documents/ Folders in this Project
  • Custom Field Default and Valid Values
  • User and User Group Access Privileges
• The Folder and Document Logs report in Project Reports now includes: Name, URL, Path on disk, Version, Description, Project Name, Create Date, and Custom Field Value.
• Administrators can now set system-wide defaults for viewing raster images in stream mode and for emptying the Out Basket after each use. Individual users can override these system settings on the Settings Page within a project.
